I'm sure many of you are familiar with the term "pure frequency." But what exactly does that mean?
Pure frequencies can be found with Tuning Forks, Tone Generators, Concert Pitch and Tuning Systems. Flutes and crystal bowls can also be referenced as pure (although they aren't completely...for the true science nerd). You can also think of cells, atoms, and the elements as pure frequencies.
There are many pure frequencies that have been shown to create very specific effects physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. For example, 45 hertz has been proven to regenerate bones. Many use 136.102 hertz as the “OM” frequency in gongs and tuning forks because it is a frequency based on the spinning of the Earth.
Many sound healers are using the Solfeggio frequencies that were discovered by an ancient monk (named Guido) around 1000 AD. These frequencies were the basis for the notes in many Gregorian chants (my personal favorites). They also have some unique numerological synchronicities – each of the frequencies add up to 3, 6, or 9 numerologically. For example, the numbers in 528 hertz add up to 15, and 1 plus 5 = 6. Some sound healers believe and use this numerology and some do not. Whichever you choose to tap into, it will create a resonant field of positive energy regardless. So no pressure.
Lastly, there are also some general frequencies that seem to correspond to higher emotional states such as gratitude, compassion, love, and joy. Then there are frequencies that can open our hearts or lead us into a direct connection with our soul. So "sing your heart out" has an all new meaning.
